If anyone still doesn't have this game, you can pick it up for 3.74 here. Don't worry its steamworks, so it activates on steam

I've been seeing people playing this on occasion. If anyone's thinking of grouping up to play a game I'd appreciate an invite. It's a fun game, is just a shame I haven't played it more.

I play KF from time to time. It just is a bit morbid for me sometimes. And I know its not too over the top with it either, I just have a low ceiling for this kinda stuff.

Killing Floor recieved a Halloween update. Nothing spectacular like the Summer Sideshow, but there's new achievement and a new character to unlock. The zeds are in modified circus garb, and the event achievements take place mostly on Bedlam

All achievements require playing on Bedlam:

Kill the Vampire Ringmaster Patriarch
Kill 5 Zeds without reloading (any weapon, I did it with the M9 in wave 1)
Decapitate a burning Zed (a headshot from the MAC-10 as a firebug counts)
Kill 25 Rabbit Scrakes
Kil 250 Halloween Zeds (any Zed)
Survive Bedlam on Hard during the event

Bedlam on hard sucks.

This update came out of the blue, at least for me.
Hm... TF2 Halloween, KF Halloween, and then the Ville Cup match.

Either way, I'll be sure to spam you guys with invites and the like.

Oh, and the big thing behind the update is the game is 66% off.
$6.79 is a pretty good, I think, for this game; the DLC is, as well, on sale too. (DLC is $0.67)

Has anyone else experienced massive framerate drops with this update? I haven't played KF since the Summer Sideshow thing according to Steam, but back then I always got a steady 60FPS+ on this machine with the same settings I'm using now. Today it was so slow as to be unplayable. I've checked game cache integrity and defragged the game files; it's helped some, but I still miss the days of near-perfect performance. :(

If I can get the game to run decently again, I wouldn't mind joining a game with Villuns this weekend. I should be around, so when I'm not in the TF2 Halloween stuff or doing other things I might play a round or two of KF with anyone who wants to invite me to a match. :)

29 November 2011, Roswell, GA

With the Christmas holiday closing in, Tripwire Interactive are offering Killing Floor free to play to everyone for a long weekend, starting on Thursday 8 December 2011 and running through to Sunday 11 December. This will give everyone who has not yet played the game a chance to try it out completely free! And there is a little surprise lurking as well... check out the Mystery Images on the Killing Floor Official Game Group on Steam for clues: http://steamcommunity.com/games/KillingFloor

Killing Floor is available now on Steam (http://store.steampowered.com/app/1250/ ), Direct 2 Drive and other digital outlets, as well as in stores across the world.
This is the Mystery Images they're talking about. This is either the 2nd or 3rd time they've done it now.
In the past it has just been new monster skins so I'm really hoping for new guns or other "real" content this time.

2 of the guns in that image are guns that are already in the game. The one showing int he bottom left is the M39 and the one in the top right is the SCAR.

Not really sure.

So it looks like a whole bunch of guns. I am pretty excited now.

Also in the article they say "Your early Christmas presents are almost here, just waiting for you..."
Plural on the word present so I really hope they're new guns.

Edit: Yeah, the top left and bottom left pictures are a vertical shotgun.
And some guy made this picture.

As if a Katana wasn't enough, i'd love to go on a zombie killing rampage with a scottish claymore.

Shotgun, revolver, sword (claymore?), three machine gun, and probably some Demo weapon.

Edit: People are saying it's the Husk's arm as a weapon in the bottom right.

Hmm, definitely a Scottish claymore on the diagonal.

Center SMG is an MP5, right-hand side looks like an M16 or an M4 with an M209 under the barrel.

I would be amused if they slapped a handle on the Husk's arm and used it :-P

I don't know really know guns, so I can't ID the top weapon, shotgun, or the revolver yet. That shotty has a very distinctive profile, so ought to be easy for somebody who knows such things.

The gun in the center facing left, kinda looks like an S&W29 or a Luger P09, would need to see the rest of the gun but it definetly looks like some kind of pistol or revolver.
