Hey ... Arbys is pretty good. :ohoh: You just have to figure out what you want. Arby fries with Horsey sauce ... c'on delicuous! Ask for a Big Montana with Cheese sauce ... just cant convince the guys to use the onion roll and it would be perfect! :P Plus, it sure beats McD's or BK any day.

I wouldn't mind having a Chick-Fil-A chicken sandwich and some waffle fries right about now

We just got a Chick-Fil-A here in San Diego about 6 months ago.

I love it!

'cept for the fact that they're closed on Sundays. I went one Sunday only to be disappointed. Turns out, the owners don't believe in working on Sundays....

Neither.

Used to eat at BK, McD, Wendys, and DQ when I was a kid. Since then, quality seems to have fallen off (or I have crappy franchises in my town) and I haven't eaten out in years, honest.

Since most of the fast food joints switched to soy oil for cooking fries, they don't taste as good. Fries, to taste their best, should be cooked in fat. Yes, fat. Peanut or corn oil produce acceptable results, but soy is where I draw the line. Let alone that most corn, canola, and soy in the states is genetically modified. :yuk:

When I want burgers, I just light up some mesquite charcoal in my grill and fix up the works. Can't see that I'll ever go back to fast food unless their quality can beat home cooking.

Your burgers sound the best so far.

Ah yes, S. Truett Cathy's Closed on Sundays policy. Nice for the folks who work there (they have an incredibly low turnover rate), but for some reason you always always want them on Sundays. Now I'm going to spend all day tomorrow wanting one. The biscuits are also the best. Not to mention that the Chick-Fil-A Bowl is always an entertaining football game.

LIES! HERESY!!

How could you say the frozen ones are decent?!

My god man, if he eats those it will ruin real White Castle!

I'm originally from Chicago, and back in the day, when we weren't so sober it was a unbreakable rule that we MUST go to the Castle.

Now that I live in Washington, it kills me not have to have those tasty morsels after I have partaken in some delicious beverages.

Also whoever runs Sonic is a jerk face. We have the commercials all the time, but the closest Sonic is in Oregon.

I don't even want their food I just want to try a Cherry Lime-Ade thing thats on all the commercials

Oh, and BK and McDs are disgusting I don't know how people eat that garbage, well except for the processed factory created almost real meat chicken nuggets.

EDIT: Oh and if Batman and his Bro want the best "fast food" places in America, go to Chicago and check out Pops. Not burgers but the greatest sandwiches ever....mmmmmm Pop's Super Combo with peppers...*drools*

Holy crap they have a website! Pops!

The one on Kedzie is the best, at least it was years ago..

I think we need to split this poll into "Food you eat while Drunk", "Best Burger", "Best Fries", "Best Chicken", and "Best Overall Restaurant".

My Choices (in order) would be:
Best Food to eat drunk:
1) White Castle - I used to be back east; the frozen things we can buy out here are a poor substitute. I have driven 80 miles with a group of drunk friends (And don't worry - I wasn't driving - we had a designated driver) to get White Castle. And you don't order 1 or 2; you tend to order a CASE when you get them.
2) Steak and Shake - A classic hangover stop back east - I wish they had them in CA
3) Dennys - All else fails - BREAKFAST!

Best Burger:
1) IN N OUT - OMG! People back east do NOT know what they are missing. We have our choice between two where I live; they are both about a 30 minute drive from my house.
2) Wendys - When it's a fast food burger, it's got to be Wendys
3) Red Robin - Another one that appears to be a west coast only thing....

Best Fries: Ok - I need to preface this with the fact I agree with whoever mentioned fries used to taste better when they were cooked in LARD. None of them taste as good as they did 15+ years ago.
1) Wendys
2) McDonalds (Even after they changed, they are just SOOOOO salty)
3) Red Robin

Best Chicken:
1) Wendys spicy chicken sandwhich.
2) KFC Popcorn Chicken
3) Red Robin Chicken Sandwich

Best Overall:
1) Wendys - we eat there maybe once/ week.
2) Subway - A lot of us out here are on diets - you can actually eat healthy and get good food too !
3) Red Robin - If it wasn't SOOO expensive, it would be perfect!
4) In-n-out - If you want a great burger and shake, it's the place. Otherwise....well - I just listed 1/2 their menu :-)

Nope. We've got them out here on the East coast too. I've seen been to one in Virginia and Maryland. They do have some good burgers there though. But you arn't kidding about the price.
