I'm partial to Wendy's. I loathe Burger King, McDonalds, and Whataburger. I just like the fries at Wendy's best.

Doesn't that look tasty?
If i serve that at Mcdonalds here, kiss the next shift goodbye.

and that is waaaaaaaaaaaay too much chili
1. They taste much better than they look.
2. There is no such thing as too much chili on a burger.

let me sum it up for you

In and Out Burger - Sorry fast food Chain burger, good luck it is better than the rest.
Carl's Jr. and Fudruckers is tied in 2nd.
Harveys/Hardees - Owned by the same people... Or at least they use to be.
BackYard Burger - This one may be unfair because their quality has gone to crap lately. So I am talking old backyard burger.
Wendys
WhataBurger
Burger King
Sonic
White Castle
Dairy Queen
Crystal Burger
McDonalds - I hate this place but I am know to eat it when hungry enough.

Whataburger reminds me of sonic without the everything taste the exact same thing sonic has going on. It has to be their grease. I haven't had the east coast chains you are talking about but there are a few other ones I had but can't remember the names. Steak and Shake or something like that and it was ok.

Hole in the wall places are the best.

Unfortunatelly for me, the only fast food place near the office is McDonalds, so in case of dire hunger, I end up there. I do try to go home for lunch for a nice home cooked meal (please don't hate me  )

Otherwise, I would go by the following list
1- Chick Fil A (when in the US)
2- Arbys (when in the US)
3- Wendy's (about 35 minute drive each way from the office)
4- Quizno's (if I do have time and I don't go home, this is where I go)

Do it, sooo worth it.

Even if you have to drive like 10 hours to get there. Like... if you've had white castle, its like that. Going to in n' out is an EXPERIENCE.
...Except nothing LIKE White Castle because unlike White Castle, In-N-Out burger is good :-p
If you have ever eaten white castle, you would know this statement is pure and utter heresy.
The one you've eaten was obviously made of fail and witchcraft; kinda like the "chicle" they sell at the Mexican border...

Burger king for beef (whopper)
McDonalds for chicken (McChicken)
McDonalds for normal fries (fries)
Arby's for curly fries and mozzerella(sp?) sticks

No.... you do not understand since me and batman (we're brothers) live on the west coast of canada our chances of white castle is so small. So whenever we're in the stats (even though i know its an east coast thing) we look for hours for them

we... want... white castle :(

Sometimes I lived in the US so i could just sample all the delicious burgers they have to offer :(

Some stores sell them frozen. They are not nearly as good as the real thing, but they might give you an idea of what you are missing.
