The parrot can get stuck on walls, corners etc. It's best to keep a direct line of sight with your parrot.

I finally played this game last night. For being a mostly melee game I'm not sure if I like it or not. I'll have to play it some more to see what I think.

Try playing Viking Beserker. It's the easiest to start off with. Switch weapons to dual wield (sword + axe), hold down the fire button and go beserk. Don't forgot to hit "f" when your special meter is full.

yeah it's mainly melee but pretty sophisticated with the directional swinging and the timing of the amount of power with each swing. lots of laughs too which is always nice. i think once you get that perfect parry and follow with an overhead bash with a broadsword you'll start to dig it.
