It was great to see so much of the old gang on there last night! Really felt like a 2012 server in all the best ways



For my own part, I'm located about 700m west of Spawn (-700, 20) in a low-slung cylindrical building. I've got a nether portal up and running, which is located in The Nether at -76, 70, 1: probably fairly close to where the spawn portal will be (if it isn't already made). Some minor Hoglin activity around it, but as I get my resource footing more secure I'll start to develop a Nether Estate to held hold them at bay.

I'm working on the map rendering system to work with the new server. Now that the server files are on a different server than the map renderer, it is slightly more difficult. Map updates might have to be less frequent now.

Okay I wrote some new procedures to update the world archive and the map once a day. The player positions on the map are still updated every 10 minutes. I did some quick testing so hopefully it all works correctly.

TV5 appears to be crashed in some way. Last night it kept closing my session and today it times out during "encrypting".

I can join other servers without issue.

I just tried to join and also got stuck on Encrypting.

Haven't seen anybody on Nethermore in quite a while. Just thought I would put a "ping" out there.

Ladeee joins me occasionally, but other than that it is pretty lonely on Nethermore.
