On a side note, connecting to a server while you have your weapons in incorrect spots like this will prevent you from using your secondary or melee until you correct it to use a weapon that's supposed to be in that slot. The bug also only affects primary weapons, so you can't do something like put a Sticky Launcher in your melee slot or a Chargin' Targe on primary.

I field tested this on a private server. If you equip primary weapons in illegal slots, you get the "nothing to use" sound effect from HL2 if you try to wield the weapon in the illegal slot. It's totally unusable and the exploit only serves to completely remove that weapon slot until you equip a valid weapon. In short the exploit is harmless to other players though it's pretty much intentionally gimping yourself if you do actually connect to a server.

Honestly this will only be useful on a Heavy. If you see a heavy having a minicrit minigun WITHOUT the buff banner, then he's using this exploit. Basically, Steak on a Minigun, cuz melee is swapped by primary.

As an update, this bug has been fixed by valve already. Knowing valve though, they'd prob make another derpy glitch sooner or later :3
