We're trying to get another testing session going for Rekkit on the events server on Sunday, with a possible second session on Monday. The time hasn't been discussed yet, but I would assume the same 9 PM Central time as before. The version used will be A5A, which can be downloaded here.
There won't be any updates between now and then, and unfortunately probably not for some time afterward, as the TF2 Steampipe conversion has (unsurprisingly) completely broken the Source SDK. Supposedly Valve is going to be releasing game-specific authoring tools for the games that currently use the now-unusable SDK "in the next couple weeks," but when you think about it, Valve also said in 2008 that they would be adding class-specific achievements and releasing new Meet the Team videos "in the coming weeks," and we all know how that went.
Hope to see y'all there! Hopefully by having two sessions more people can make it in. Both sessions will use the same version of the map, so feel free to drop by for both, but if you can only make one, you probably won't miss much in the other. Of course that assumes that we do indeed end up having two sessions...!

That's right! TV2 Custom Map Night RETURNS! (with not quite a vengeance)
One hour from now will be the official return of TV2 Custom Map Night (with not quite a vengeance)
We won't be playing anything special, just to ease people in to the maps. We will simply be playing what is on the rotation, or other maps already on the server if voted for in-game.
More details to come after the festivities tonight end!

Okay, guys. Time to explain how Custom Map Seed Night is going to work out for now:
1. Due to possibility of "burning out", Custom Map Seed Nights will be cut back. Instead of an organized seed every week, there will be an organized seed somewhere between once every two weeks and once a month. (I will put this up for a vote)
2. We WILL still be accepting new custom maps to try out, but not every Seed Night will contain new maps. We will also be playing one to two new maps per Seed Night when we do use new maps (instead of the previous three to four)
3. Because of Villuns' varying schedules, Seed Nights need not happen on Wednesday. On weeks that Seed Nights will occur, we will try to gather everyone's input on which day to play, either through a regular poll topic, or simply via posts in this topic. (Obviously, we're not going to schedule a Seed Night on days where other events are happening)
4. As always, voting for maps during Seed Nights is welcome.

Suggest we roll the times a bit as well as the days...on the Wednesday one, I was only able to come because it was at 8PM Ville time - if it were any later, I wouldn't have been able to come. However, it also looks like there were a few people who missed it because it was too early!
