Hallowe'en Mode on TV4

Hallowe'en mode has been turned on on TV4!

This means:
- pumpkin drops with a surprise - sometimes it might be a shield or a booby trap!
- helmets are worth 10x
- everything is darker and harder to see
- zombies are weaker
- added Anvil, Farmers (no parachutes) and Aura

On 1 November it reverts!

Hey Dog (and fellow Left4DoD players),

Was playing the Hallowe'en mode on IV and thought it was great. Quite like the darker setting and being chased through the corn on Farmers was awesome. Was good playing Anvil again and haven't seen Aura yet.

Will the maps you added stay around after 1 November?

the maps are always available, just hit an admin up, i quite enjoy throwing a none rotation map up

Love the Halloween mod.. Love the map rotation. Breaks up the monotony. We had a blast last night. Capped out Farmers i think twice but man it was hard.

There was 8 of us on Farmers last night and we capped out 20 times. We were well synced, bug zappers are us lol

Yeah, on Farmers, the shield is necessary.

yeah we were like a well oiled machine, if i remember of the 8 of us the highest death count was 4 and we all had around a 100 kills.

Parachutes do work in Farmers...... But the take you off the edge off the map and you can't get back

How do you kill yourself now ? 'Kill' in console no longer works.

I was wondering if there was going to be a Halloween mode. i haven't had much time to play lately because of work, but I will have to check it out tonight

No you won't, because Steam updated DOD:S, and now the server version is earlier than the client version.
