While I don't think I'd want to play GTA because of the content, this kind of thing seriously tempts me to give it a try.

Not ponies, I know, it's amazing.

So try to imagine Sonic 3 & Knuckles as if it were created with modern gaming engines. Try to imagine the final battle between Robotnik and Super Sonic as Robotnik attempts to flee the Death Egg with the Master Emerald. Try to imagine the whole stage being a long, awesome cutscene, instead of an actual stage. You'd probably come up with something awesome like this:


And he didn't finish it, the creator got a job at BioWare according to the description, though not in the animation department.

YouTuber "HelixSnake" has a whole bunch of videos of his self-made GTA hax. (I may have posted some of his videos before, I don't remember now.) Fair warning: most of them are full of profanity, seeing as they are GTA videos. These two are clean, and are two of my favorites:




He said for a long time that he wouldn't release the scripts he made to do these things, but he did release the levitation scripts in the description for this video. Not having any of the GTA games, I can't try them out myself.
