Re: TF2 Custom Map Nights!
I believe this week will be a Player's Choice week. (Mostly because I haven't seen any good maps lately).
We will take the top 3 or 4 maps previously playtested and play them again. For science!
Please, vote for three or four of the following maps from the previous new map days:
WEEK 1:
PL_Borneo
PL_Haste
PL_Alpen
PL_Manngrove
WEEK 2:
PL_Halfacre
CP_Indulge
CTF_Impact
WEEK 3:
CP_Desertion
CP_Zinkenite
CP_Vertical
CTF_Quarry
CP_Blackmesa
WEEK 4:
CP_Antiquity
CP_Upland
CTF_Landfall
KOTH_Namicott
And in the meantime, also suggest new maps for week six!
Also, I should probably clarify: When suggesting new maps to test, please provide a link to the download. It's easier that way.

Re: TF2 Custom Map Nights!
You've got weeks 1, 3 and 4 up there, we had a week 2 that included halfacre and impact and I can't remember what else and there was never a post detailing exactly what we played. . .
I am home and no longer suffering from jet-lag so I will be there for the first time in almost a month, hooray!!
edit: The other one was indulge, after that I think people stayed a bit for blazewalk which is a rotation map.

Quarry and Antiquity are my votes. I don't remember having really good feelings during Payload Week. Also Zinkenite.

Whoops. Sorry, I wasn't around for that week. I'll change my list.Plinko wrote:You've got weeks 1, 3 and 4 up there, we had a week 2 that included halfacre and impact and I can't remember what else and there was never a post detailing exactly what we played. . .

VST = Central time, so it depends where you are. 9PM VST = 10p Eastern, 7p Pacific.Opossum wrote:What time is 9PM VST ?

Re: TF2 Custom Map Nights!
Quarry and Antiquity are the most popular I believe (and I gotta say, Antiquity was pretty cool). So they get my vote. Outside of those, I have no idea, custom maps have a bad habit of sucking.

This is hard to be cool and suave while being informative at the same time. Goddamn my coolness.
In my experience, common sense isn't too common.

I'd like to try Manngrove and Antiquity again, and I missed a week and would like to see Blackmesa, or any of the other CP maps form that week (I've seen Quarry before).

Re: TF2 Custom Map Nights!
Blackmesa was kinda messy. Cluttered pathways, confusing signs, and a massive death pit beneath 40% of the stage. Not that fun.Gearloose wrote:I'd like to try Manngrove and Antiquity again, and I missed a week and would like to see Blackmesa, or any of the other CP maps form that week (I've seen Quarry before).

Soooo.... What are we playing tomorrow night Plinko and Supreveio?
I wouldn't mind seeing Antiquity again if we're short new ideas.

I still want to see koth_saw_final with a full server. The most I've personally witnessed is 6v6, and people were still too afraid of death.
