Done with tf2
Yea ive been playing the game alot for a while and the ville just OWNS! But to me the game has really lost its spark to me.....Pubbing really makes me sad at how the game has developed and what not BUT I still feel like it cant be totally ignored. I might hit this game up here and there, I will participate in all the ville events but it will be a rare sight to see me in the pub servers. That is all

Re: Done with tf2
Sadness. Just a couple of suggestions that might help:
1) Maybe try picking up a new class that you have always found difficult or maybe don't play often (spy?).
2) Maybe try playing on the warpath or one of the rotation Ville serves more?
I find that if I'm not enjoying playing on warpath, I try to spend some time on a different Ville server to mix it up a little.
Regardless though, I have noticed a good chunk of Villun regulars who used to play no longer do so, or just play sporadicly. People are bound to lose interest after pouring hundreds of hours into a game or from having the game change as much as it has.
Don't forget, lots of us play on our Minecraft server, enjoy a good game of L4D2 Vs, play SMNC Invitational, play Dota 2 etc.
I haven't played with you much before the warpath cup, but you are a cool dude. It would be sad to see you less involved in our community.

Hey, if you want to play other games, do so. We'll still be here if you decide to drop in every once in a while!
Like Mateo said, we've got other game servers if you want to stick with the cool kids.

The light is on and the key is under the door mat. And you'll always be welcomed.
And give some of our other games a run for a break from the TF2 rut.

Sad that this happens, I sometimes find myself taking breaks too, but they usually don't last more than a few days. The game will feel fresh when you come back too, it'll be a nice feeling.

Sorry to hear you won't be around as often Pwnstar. Try not to be a stranger!
Re: Done with tf2
Do what makes you happy, this is supposed to be for enjoyment after all.

My backpack holler if you see something you would like to trade for.

Pwnster, as Ben from the movie Short Circuit said "I enjoyed repeatedly throwing you to the ground".
I also the many more times you have sniped me. It's been fun to learn some tips. I look forward to seeing you back.

WHAT!? This is terrible news!
Pwny, I fully understand where you are coming from, and I agree with your frustrations. But I will be very sad not playing with you at the Ville.
I'm inclined to say, "Please don't go." But you gotta do what you gotta do. And you're only fun here when you want to be here.
It’s one of those agonizing cycles: as top players leave, gameplay suffers; as gameplay suffers, top players leave.
I hope that as time goes by you will discover a game or productive activity that you are passionate about – like you were with TF2. Try some other games out and compare. How about BattleField 3? Good one for snipers. Challenging but with really cool sniper rifles. No embedded 'strine accent though.
All we can do is what <eva>mlite said, keep the light on for you.
Best wishes and I hope to see you return occasionally and add your exciting spice to the Ville servers.

Re: Done with tf2
That is totally understandable and of course real life responsibilities take priority over gaming. Good luck with everything and we'll see you on the other side of the tunnel.Pwnstar wrote:Il be back but not any time soon, lots of stuff going on in my life so its just to much

Nothing wrong with cutting back or taking breaks as long as you're still around. Lots of people play lotsa different games around here & go on hiatus regularly, it happens.

Has no one considered poor TF2. Maybe TF2 is the one who is done. Maybe TF2 takes a break, from YOU.
