JD, Mortis, Meta, and I just turned in a time of 18 minutes on Swamp, and 17 minutes on Blood Harvest.

What? No records on Cold Stream?

What about the feature custom campaigns? are they eligible? City 17, Suicide Blitz 2, One 4 Nine, Detour Ahead, Haunted Forest, and Two Evil Eyes?

Cold Stream, the only official campaign for which there is no score, is probably in that situation because it's such a terrible map that nobody ever wants to play it, much less repeatedly start over to get a clean speedrun :-P

As for supported unofficials... well, I guess do 'em and post a score. Hopefully customs will be listed seperately though, as the quality is all over the place on them, and it doesn't feel right to put them up there with the others.

I have a screenie of doing the Sacrifice last year in 11 minutes, I will post it later. Also No Mercy in 18.

I have lots that tie existing records but that doesnt count :)

I'm sure it doesn't count, and I know it doesn't beat the record anyway, but i'm proud that I was able to survive Dark Carnival from start-to-finish in Last Man on Earth mode (no bot survivors, only me. No commons, only pinning specials, spitters, tanks, and witches) in 24 minutes with no deaths. Granted, I got incapped 7 times, but I never once died entirely. There's gotta be some merit to that I hope.

Sure, there aren't any commons, but this time appears on par with any other time, and I didn't have anyone to free me from the pinning specials. I did lose a minute in map 2 when I failed to crown a witch properly, but it was smooth sailing from then on.

For the record, I see no rule that states we can't speed run with mutations.

It might help you as most time is eaten up by common blocking. I put it up as a separate record for death toll (or it will be, as no one has submitted a death toll time).

Part of the reason why I did it was because there wasn't anything there. It's cool though, i'll take an asterisk by my name in the record book. Even without the commons, the Church Guy scene still takes forever and you still gotta wait out the finale. I suppose the biggest place it matters is the map 4 forklift run, that was a little easy without the commons swarming. Only thing I ran into at that part was a spitter.

Since we're on this subject, I also did Cold Stream. Oddly enough, commons DO spawn in Last Man on Earth on this map, but only when you open the storm door at the end of map 1. I'm guessing custom map crescendos aren't programmed the same way as official maps, evidenced by City 17 Map 2 when commons started spawning during the alarm run, and Helm's Deep Reborn on Last Survival on Earth (same rules as Man, just in survival mode) when the commons swarmed anyway.

While there aren't any rules (it's just for fun, not competition) all records listed are playing standard games on normal difficulty. No other settings are comparable, though if we want to have a "mutations" division, that'd be fine, obviously. Not having commons is about the single biggest advantage any speed-runner could have. SI don't cause significant time loss, commons do.
