Stats changes
Over the coming weeks, we will be making changes to the stats.
We are moving stats recording back to GameMe and will located at
http://theville.gameme.com
It has advantages:
1. Stats will be more up to date - weapons and actions will be added more quickly
2. Faster servers - our current server often has MySQL running at 90% CPU time
3. Snazzy stats graphics
Please bear with us while we make changes.
PM Carpe (the stats master) with any requested changes and we will try and get them back to Ville standard.

I dont know which is more interesting. That somedude has 80 flares deflected in 2 hours or that the servers now track his 80 deflects.

HLStats could track deflects, I myself deflected 2 in the past 3 weeks, and have airblasted people 1500 times.
Will our current stats be transfered entirely or is this a clean slate? I don't want my 120 Maul kills to just evaporate.

well then i better get to work getting back to 100k, but im not playing alot of tf2 tomorrow because of im waiting for the update.

I may be the only person in the world who might care about this, but I noticed medics are only getting 5 points per uber now, any chance of getting that bumped back up to 10?
Or is the scoring system something that is determined by the actual programmers? Not a big deal either way.

Stats are fun to look up, so I support this change greatly. I'm really liking the kill and death location maps.

Stats ehhh. The only thing I used them for was to see how many times I can die in 20 minutes.

If we're talking about Warpath, that's a map optimization issue. There are several places on Warpath like that.
Stats shouldn't affect a server. The game server simply pumps out the stats and the stats server uses a daemon to listen in to what the game server is broadcasting.
