I too have tried other servers in the past, only to be let down by the insufficient 'quality' of the players participating in that server. Nothing compares to the Fellowship and bonding we here at the Ville feel every time we log on. This Fellowship is only a fraction of what we are capable of as a community. And I strongly believe that this Fellowship that we share, is part of why we are so darned good at what we do: kick bum.

I go to other servers these days. I like to play Charlie and forest sometimes, so I go on 24/7 Charlie. It is a very good server with a very nice and friendly admin and very organized players (before I scope for the first time allies are already in my base...), and they like me well there for being a camper. Life of a sniper is really a hard one, besides scraping my guts off the bunkers and suzies all the time, I am hated in general... so it is nice being needed...

But some servers I go to are horrible; I receive a lot of verbal abuse out of nowhere. On this one server couple of days ago my own teammates called me a "cigarette" and everything else in the book the entire game, it's just did not make any sense, and I was really helping. Some guy kept being outraged by me being banned off some server and now coming there and being a cigarette... I assured him, I have no idea what he is talking about... anyway.... things are funny out there for SheWolf.

I think it is healthy to wonder off now and then, if only to realize how good it is at home.

I have played on many servers in the past. I always seem to find the ones with quality players. Those same players always seem to find me(stalkers) on next server I play on. However, the VILLE has always had the most talented players(haxors). That is why I stayed. I believe this quality has to do with the community. We(the ville regulars) consistantly are pushing each other to play better. Then there is the TPF(teamplay first) factor that seems to draw new players(victims) the the Servers.

Thats exactly why I try to keep everyone informed of stuff going on in the world of DoDS. We should all be well versed in all things DoD (sorry I cant cover CSS too, too much for one person). It helps our community grow in size and virtue.

like you say mujo - Theres a distinct commradery here that you wont find on any other server. We all know it, and it keeps us coming back for more. When new players get a taste of it, they usually stick around (at least all the Canadians do lol!)
