Warhammer Age Of Reckoning

Core ruleset for me. I like to keep my pvp and pve separate. I have 2 different mindsets when playing either and want to keep it that way.

Besides, there's significant pvp areas that are designed around pvp. The pve areas are designed with pve in mind and doesn't really allow for freedom of movement that pvp would require. You would have to stop to kill a mob every 10s.

they should come out with a 40k mmo (i know they wont) but i would so be in the Ordo Malleus...one thing i was wondering though about the game though...is chaos undivided or can you (and have it have an affect on your game play) be associated with the different gods (there are just 3 in fantasy right?...im more a 40k person)

Well I just bought Warhammer and was wondering if anyone else is playing. I played AoC and found it to be horrible so I'm hoping this is better.

Yeah, I've been playing it a little bit. Seems decent so far. Its plays like wow, but has many different qualities as well.

so after watching the cinematic and seeing the lord of change at the end...and <gasp> reading the info about the game i got my answer...i feel like an idiot...still i wish there could have been a nurgle or khorne based characters...heck just let me run around as a bloodleter

I know nurgle is pretty sweet, but khorne is way better

I preordered it, and have been messing around with it since it arrived. I've got several (Order) characters on White Tower, but haven't really decided what I want to play yet. I like the aesthetic of Ironbreakers the best, but their playstyle seems a little bland compared to a lot of the others. I like the Warrior Priest a lot, but one of my friends is probably going to play WP, so I'll probably have to go something else. I might try out Shadow Warrior next.

Overall, it's got some technical problems (crashes to desktop, etc.) and it doesn't run perfectly on my machine, but I think it's got some really neat ideas to it. The focus on PvP (or RvR as they call it) could potentially give it longer legs than any other MMO. It certainly borrows a lot from WoW - all the way down to the green/blue/purple rarity color skew - but that's not necessarily a bad thing. The familiarity will draw in a lot of the WoW crowd, and then hopefully the unique parts will keep them.

Having a fantastic time with it. I really like playing witch hunter. My beta character got up to level 14, and the new one is level 5 right now cause I have no time to play stuff.

Always a Warhammer fan, so I love it.

The crashes to desktop are a huge problem right now with the game, especially those with nvidia graphics cards. I have a friend who has been suffering from this since day 1. We'll be playing for about 20-30 minutes, then once we go to a PQ or RvR battleground(it's more frequent in these areas) his computer will either crash to desktop or completely freeze his system and he has to reboot manually. He went out and bought a new power supply and a Nvidia 1gb video card and it's still doing it. So it's something within the coding of the game.

Hope they fix this issue asap, it's affecting a lot of people, but overall it's a fun game, I'm liking it.

OK, I am having a great time with my level 18 Witch Hunter, but I am unhappy with the guild I am with on the Iron Rock server.

I'd like to find out if:

1) There is a server with some Villuns on there that I can join up with -or-

2) Can we pick a server and all start up there and maybe form a guild.

My guildees are never on. When I play, there MIGHT be one other guild member on, but usually not. It's kind of frustrating.

So how 'bout it?
