Any chance of a stat reset ?

Just curious, but at what point does the sheer volume of stat data start to affect the performance of the stat server and the servers in general? Have we already hit that point?

There has to be a flipping ginormous amount of data right now, to use fancy DBA terminology. We may be in danger of bringing down the interwebz.

I joined the ville during the last system. I cared very much about stats.

I now play in this system. I care very little about stats.

If stats (points) were gone, I could care less.

Reset, wipe, eliminate, leave, it's all the same to me.

I just like to see KPD and daily awards, all the points and stuff can go away for all I care.

The only thing I really use stats for are to see my KPD, and % headshots. It's interesting to see how I rank compared to others, but I could take it or leave it.

The awards and weapon stats are fun though. Even if I only have like 8 awards. And 5 of them are for huge SMG action.

I've always enjoyed looking at stats. It can be fun to see how you fair with certain weapons and such. But I think it would be cool to reset them every few months. Maybe even break the year into quarters or something like that.

I'm not one to ask for change for the simple fact of change. A stat wipe would provide:

- A new / fresh challenge for all to fight their way to the top

- show players how they are currently playing ( removing stats that are months old )

- give new players a chance to rank higher

- better reflect how a player ranks ( kind of like my #2 reason )

... and any other reason that I may have missed.

I m still thinking we should get the same quantity of points taked that ill be more fair for all cos i ll love take 25 points for every kill and also watch them go down

I still dont get it why should i play for daily awards? cos to me the kills, deaths and dominations are the most important of course the kpd also
