I would like to take a moment to thank shifty for being such an awesome team player, the man tossed his body under the truck (i think his torso maybe got caught in the wheel and forced the car to stop) after being dragged a good hundred feet. Remember kids, you don't mess with the enfield.

Way to go shifty. I take it was you that shot the driver and not shifty who some how lived after all that.

DayZ sounds like a good time. I have arma 2 installed but had issues getting the mod to load correctly and haven't got back around to attempting a reinstall of it.

Note: We currently have a Ural, Offroad Truck, and (My) bike. Since I had to go find a second bike, I'm gonna ask that nobody uses the bike, unless you ask me first.

Also: Biker and I saw the helicopter tonight. It was scary, and somebody has it still.

As of this morning: Both trucks and my bike have been stolen.

So, if I want to get in on this, I need to buy Arma II? I've been interested for a while, but my playtime is going to be necessarily limited by my schedule (basically 2-ish hours some late weekday nights only).
Is it worth getting into this late, with that little time to play? I do not want to get into a Borderlands situation.

Correct Plinko - it's a mod of ARMA II much like L4DOD is a mod of DoD:s, so ARMA II is required to play.

Can't answer the rest of the question though - don't have it yet myself.

First off to play you would need to buy Arma II combined ops. So right now steam price you are looking at $30. Rocket (the lead developer on Dayz) says we could see a retail launch as early as December. Arma III is stated for early 2013. DayZ will be officially launched on the Arma III engine either as a free mod, dlc mod, or a stand-alone.

So heres the thing, do you want to pay $30 to play a buggy mod for a few months?

Also: I got a tent, so we need to make a new camp. Also: if you see CZ mags, I need as many as I can get, I have none. I have ten AK mags if anyone needs them.
