Betteh and abiscuit made me buy this. While I was initially hesitant I ended up buying it, unfortunately just before the autumn sale Having played it a few nights now I must say that it is rather fun. It is a nice break from all the shoot'em up games that have been around as of late and the hand to hand combat ( sans archers) is challenging but once you get the hang of it the realism of the combat stands out. Now when I say realism what I mean is how the timing and placement of shots matter. The range of your swing and where you are in the action all make a world of difference.

It is currenlt $25 but was as low as 12.50 that I saw during the autumn sale. With the christmas sale coming up it is a good time to check it out. possibly even get in on a discounted 4 pack. So far it has been mostly biscuit betteh shifty and myself playing but there are a few others that own it and at least a few with it on their wishlist.

I know biscuit made a thread about this before but it was a game that bears repeating. There are 2 trailers on the steam page and a ton of gameplay videos on youtube.

I didn't screen the whole video for language but just a heads up because it is possible.

This game has a dedicated button for a battle cry. It's really fun when the battle starts and all of your team shouts out just before we start chopping off heads. This is not a game where you can mash left click and win. You might get some success doing it, but against anybody who knows what the parry button is you'll get killed in a hurry. As Giz said timing your swings and blocks is a major part of this game. The game will likely go on sale during the winter sale so keep an eye out for it.

If there ever was a new game that the ville should run a server for, it is this game. Lopping heads and limbs while saying cliche catch phrases of olde is perversely enjoyable. Also, copious death gurgling.

I've already got a pitch running. We are looking in to our options ill just say that. a lot of it comes down to player base and the number of people that pick it up on sale.

I've got a hour under my belt so far. I went back through and did the in game tutorial and remapped a few buttons. Did a bit more multilayer. I'm sure it will be fun with a large group of villuns in team speak.

Chivalry is 50% off today, including the four pack.

On youtube, I saw the LAN party video of this on the NODE channel. It looked interesting. Anyone want to go in on a 4-pack? It would be about $9.40 per person.

I usually buy the 4-pack and get reimbursed via paypal. Let me know via steam chat or PM me on the site because I may overlook this thread by end of today's sales.

If not, I'll probably pick this game up for the $12.49.
