I'm curious as to which guns you think are such an upgrade?

I've picked up guns loaded with all kinds of stuff. Underneath grenade launchers, red dot sights that are FAR easier to aim, upgraded barrels, heavy machine guns that lay down suppressing fire like nobodies business, shotguns that fire 3 times faster than the one I have etc.

The underbarrel launchers are class upgrades for the assualt, however you lose the ability to drop health packs. So pick your poison. Red dot sights (RDS / Kobra / IRNV) , laser sights, upgraded barrels are all unlocked by playing with a single weapon. Each weapon has it's own levels and as you gain kills with it you unlock those perks per weapon. For example if you unlock all of the perks for the M416 and then unlock the AEK-971, none of those perks carry over, and you have to unlock them all over again. If you want to see how far away you are from unlocking your perks and weapons you can view that in your players profile.

The Americans and Russians both have support classes with decent Heavy Machine Guns (the Americans get the M27 to start with, which I always choose over any unlockable MG) for Russians I opt out of there starter for the M249 (one of the first unlocks) I play with mobility with IRNV + Foregrip + Heavy barrel.

It can be overwhelming being killed by so many different weapons and being able to pick up so many different ones. Most of the time though I just grab other weapons to goof off. The lower tier weapons you get early on have everything you want bud :) I am working my way to the end of the Assault chain because I want to use the American M16A3 starter weapon for Russian as well, it's the bread and butter bro.

p.s. Clay, you are the 99%

Here is a website with a bunch of the unlocks, as well as SS of what they look like ingame.

You cant go wrong there keys. Your looking at H&K on one side and H&K on the other side. H&K all the way.

Meh, this game is so devoid of fun I just uninstalled it. Really regret buying it. I've loved every Battlefield game up to this one. Oh well.

I seem to have an inordinately hard time getting more than 1000 or so points in a match. It's somewhat disheartening.

I have fun playing with peeps but I've been getting home too late for the party, I'm not good enough to enjoy it otherwise.
