TV5 Scheduled Maintenance 3/7 @ 1:00pm Central

TV5 will be offline for a little while on Tuesday 3/7 at 1:00pm Central time. I will be setting up a new SSD to run the server on, which will hopefully improve performance. I'm not sure how long it will take.

It looks like there was a faulty cable causing issues. It has been replaced now, so hopefully we won't have any more unexpected outages...

So has anyone noticed any improvement in the server's performance since I made the change?

Maybe a little bit? But I still get some pretty hard lag during combat. It's difficult to tell if it's happening less-frequently because less land is being generated on average, or for other reasons. It still gets to be unplayable at times, though.
