Reminder: Restock what you take

Over the past couple weeks, someone has managed to deplete TV5 town of iron entirely. We are talking many, many man hours of work, stacks upon stacks of iron completely vanished. We now have only 2 stacks of coal, all the rails from the train supply are gone, it's looking bare. We have not been this low since the server started which means people are not replenishing what they are taking and they are taking far more than they should.

Please remember that while town supplies are for public consumption, you should be replacing everything you take in a timely manner, it's how we do it on TV5. Town supplies are really meant for newcomers, providing them help getting started on the server. We can all band together to create supplies for mega projects, looting town of all it's supplies without restocking, is not the way to go about it.

So please, if you have been taking supplies from town, take some time now to begin replacing them for the community.

Also, please note that items in town (read: SPAWN) are for the community. Items in other peoples' chests in their own buildings OUTSIDE of spawn are not to be touched unless you have their explicit permission.

I haven't gone to spawn in a long time, and I plan on restocking anything I take when I go there.

That being said, sounds like someone is building a rail system. Wonder who that could be...

I was the one who depleted the iron and rail from spawntown. I'll restock it now.

Sorry, everyone. I thought since this rail was for everyone it would be ok to tap into spawn for those resources, and then replenish it when I could. I would never have touched it if it was just a project for my own area. I only ever used spawntown stockpiles and donations though. I don't know who keeps stealing from EVA.

I'm going to create a few Golem farms and get to work replenishing spawn before I resume work on CalcRail.

I'll help. Strangely, I have a compulsion to mine out abandoned railways in generated caves, but I have no use for them in Medieval land. I'm giving them to the Rail Supply depot.
