With the new and improved spider mobs I am concerned that my castle walls wont be sufficient to hold them back. Is anyone farming cacti? I can trade a whole lot of sugar cane for cacti.

I farm cactus in my base so I could spare a stack or two.

That said, why not just build a cactus farming machine? Bonus, attach the water trench to a mob grinder to kill two birds with one stone.

Yeah, a cactus farming machine I've got plenty of cactus, or at least, I will have plenty of cactus here soon. Either way, I'm sure we can get you set off on the right foot for cactusing.

i wish i could make automated stuff i cant even figure out how to make a mob grinder. guess i just need to google a tutorial

I have a stack of cacti now thanks to Dog, I am well on my way to creating my cacti farm.
