For some reason, I'm getting an error on my phone that reads "Sign-in error for (email address)". When I select it, it asks me to sign back in to Google.
If I just clear the error, it comes back. I tried turning my phone on and off, and its back right away. I tried entering my password to log back in to google, but the sign in just stays up, and the password field goes blank again.
I still have full access to my google account on my phone, so it isn't like I have been signed out of anything.
This has happened before, around a month or 2 ago. I tried several suggested fixes I found on the internet, and none of them worked. After setting everything back to normal, the error did eventually go away after about a week.
Besides waiting for it to go away, does anyone know how to make it go away now and not come back in the future?
My phone is an LG Optimus 2X with android version 2.2.2.

Re: Google Sign-in error
Try this(Not positive it will fix it but it might be a good start):
Go to Settings> Apps > All > Google services Framework
Force stop and Clear the data. Reboot the phone.
Go to Settings> Apps > All > Google services Framework
Force stop and Clear the data. Reboot the phone.
