It's coming together, but I still don't have Windows 7 yet...and I still need the mounting for the SSD.

I was a bit nervous earlier because it seemed like it was taking a lot of force for some of the parts to fit in (i.e. everything involved with the CPU), but after watching some videos online, I realized that it's supposed to be snug.

Also, I feel like I touched the motherboard more than I should have...and I made a bit of a mess with the thermal goo in the case and on the manuals.

As long as you didn't get any of the thermal material on any of the pcbs you should be fine, if it is electrically conductive thermal material.

Get a 64-bit version of 7. Home premium maxes out at 16GB ram support. Pro goes a LOT higher.
