"So what have you been up to, man? Haven't seen you in so long!"
"Ah, you know how it is. Doin' a lot of side projects, some consulting, maybe a little freelance... Those are words that people say when they haven't actually been doing anything, right?"

Re: Mapcycle
Could we get rid of ctf_chaos? It's a terrible map that has a tendency to make the server empty pretty quickly. Either that or map switch to novelty maps like wacky races.

Seconded, CTF with several revolving doors into the int room and a 3cap limit is just not fun.frostdillicus wrote:Could we get rid of ctf_chaos? It's a terrible map that has a tendency to make the server empty pretty quickly. Either that or map switch to novelty maps like wacky races.

I can also attest to the fact that chaos reliably drains the server and should go.

Re: Mapcycle
While we're removing a map, does anyone have suggestions for a map to add to the rotation?

Re: Mapcycle
Considering chaos's location in the map cycle, or for that matter any early map in the map cycle, it should support a smaller number of players. Without being, well, that particular map.
Looking at the stuff that TV2 already has, how about something from the oooooold days like cp_labor (which actually plays best with small teams), or cp_glacier?
