I'd like to know everybody's favorite 80's movie
I recently watched a thing on VH1 about the best 80's music...which made me wonder what everybody's favorite 80's movie is.
I'll have to start out and say THE LOST BOYS!!!!!! Now that is a classic.

Re: I'd like to know everybody's favorite 80's movie
Since I was born in the late 80s, it is hard for me to part of this... oh well, I watch 80s movies anyway.
Some of my favorites in their appropriate categories:
Comedy:
Beverly Hills Cop
Spaceballs
Action:
Back to the Future
Indiana Jones: Raiders of the Lost ark
Drama/Serious
Mississippi Burning
Dead Poet's Society
The best one by far, one I found absolutely hilarious (some might not, acquired taste)
The Gods Must Be Crazy
I swear, when the guy winched his SUV into the tree, I was just rolling on the floor in laughter.
I might come up with a few more later on.

I don't know how I forgot about these great movies.

Man..there were so many good movies in the 80's... I'll have to agree with BigC though, Lost Boys is definately one of my favorites! Did you know Lost Boys 2: The Tribe is coming out in July? Can't wait for it! Corey Feldman is back as Edgar Frog, along with the guy who played Alan Frog, and Corey Haim is apparently just making a cameo as Sam. The trailer is up on YouTube, not sure if theres one anywhere else, it just came out last week.
Anyways... my other 80's favorites:
The Goonies
Spaceballs
Ghostbusters 1 & 2
Back to the Future 1-3
Raiders of the Lost Ark
Stand by Me
Gremlins 1 & 2
