I've been working on clearing junk out of my bedroom for a while now, and yesterday as I was boxing up another pile, I came across this relic: a complete copy of Counter-Strike: Source on CD-ROM!
Half-Life 2: Deathmatch and Day of Defeat: Source were even on there.
This is even from before the rise of DVD-ROM for games - which as we know has already pretty much come and gone as far as PC gaming is concerned, with most everything being digital now. So these are CDs, not DVDs. The game needed 4 discs for all the data!
Amazing how far gaming tech has come in just a few years' time.
