How to not buy things on the steam sale

Post by Greebo » Wed Jun 24, 2015 7:08 pm

Well...I've finally lasted a whole steam sale without buying anything!

How did I achieve this magic you ask? Well dealing with a newborn does wondrous things!

Our son Kaiden was born 3 weeks ago and has been keeping us very busy. He's really cute (not that I'm biased), eats like a teenager and is currently passed out on my chest in a milk coma.

Gotta say being a parent is nothing like I expected (which is a good thing, I was worrying about not having time to do my own thing...which is true but I don't care about it like I thought I would). He's already changed a lot in the passed 3 weeks so I'm always looking forward to what the next day will bring!

Thankfully he's very good natured so the panic button isn't necessary!

I am not sure if having a baby is less expensive than buying games from the sale. But it is more worth while. Congrats!!!!

Congrats Greebo, is he called STAU Greebo Jr in steam? You have to get your kids names registered on twitter, facebook and at steam account early before its too late. Dont forget to get gmail, hotmail, and any other social networking accounts that he may need.

I dont think he needs a pinterest account right way, all he will do is post pictures of his favorite meals which means booby pictures. Uncle Pervie will approve though and follow him.

Too true. Get him a good name on all platforms possible so he isn't stuck with something like "GreeboJr354987+1" or something. It'd make for a neat surprise years down the line when he's old enough to appreciate computers and such.

Also, set up a bank account in his name even if it's only for $10 and you never touch it again. Start building that credit now!
