Yes yes, my nagging skills are near perfect now.
I take that back, I haven't been successful at nagging that hideous image of Michael Jackson out of your avatar!

Re: Your First Ville Days
The first regular i remember was Blue Ruler, he banned me from the DOD server (on accident) and invited me back in to play. The people i played with the most back in the day that come to mind are Clay, C'mon, Shockwave, Shovelnose, Jack The Homeless, and Stove.

It was either Beeron or Ellroy. I dunno though. But I do remember the first map I played on. That was dod_saints on dod 1.3

Re: Your First Ville Days
There are two first ville days for me....
When I actually started playing, my sister led me to the Warpath server...I remember gabes_riverbound and bob_the_builder.... and lots of others that I remember from that server.
My first day there was pretty easygoing. I felt like I wanted to talk a lot because I actually had a microphone...I used to be the talkative person I think.
My first day on the forums i never really wanted to post all that much because I was too busy playing tf2 on warpath.
But it took a bout a month to actually sign up on the forums for same reason... but I try to post everyday now ....... emphasis on the try.

Re: Your First Ville Days
I'm pretty sure I first found The Ville years and years ago when Day of Defeat was still the main game being played. I played pretty sporadically back then, was mostly into Counter Strike, so no one really sticks out.
It was just about 1.5 years ago I think that I re-found The Ville, again while looking to play DOD. I recognized the name and this time I made sure to bookmark the website. I got TF2 last Christmas and haven't played anywhere else since.
The person who sticks out in my mind from when I started playing TF2 is Dirty Dan. He was the first person I felt like I had interacted with enough to add to my friends list. We were on Steel and I remember him being very friendly and helpful with a lot of us who had never played the map before. Thanks again Dan!

Re: Your First Ville Days
I came to the ville just in time for the Ville Cup so the first people I got to know were the guys in 3B. JD and Reipin in particular.

I am reminded almost daily! If you look closely, the original of that is the picture I use for my Steam avatar.

Re: Your First Ville Days
I've long since forgotten which server I started playing on, or whether or not I was still known as Blaze Fox. I just know that back in my early early days i poke and prodded for Frau to finally join, sometimes literally.

Sorry if I missed anyone, my memory is bad for some reason.

Re: Your First Ville Days
That would have to be Frosty, Maka, and JD during the DOD 1.3 phase, when the computer I had then *REALLY* sucked and everyones voices sounded a whole lot different than they do now! And I still have a computer that's probably slower than 90% of what any of you have.

I kinda remember it as a whole, not single people really.
