Re: the MCRIB!
Strange, I actually like some of the Jack in the Box' stuff. I go there about once a year because that place doesn't even exist in Canada.
It's all Tim Horton's and A&W. Tim Horton's is so iconic, it makes me sick.
I wouldn't eat a McRib either. I do like their egg Mcmuffin. I only eat their breakfast or chicken stuff. I stay the hell away from their burgers and nuggets.

"Food" like that should just be taken home and thrown in the toilet, and skip the gastrointestinal trauma.

Re: the MCRIB!

Secret Menu:
(as in, things not listed on the menu)
Grilled Cheese Sandwich - self explanitory
Veggie - all the veggies and cheese, no meat
animal style - add grilled onion and thousand island dressing, extra pickles too
animal fries - regular fries with a pile of thousand island and grilled onions
4x4 (or 3 x 3) - Hamburger made your way with said number of patties (I watched my friend eat a 4x4, had to use a fork and knife lol!)
I always order the double cheese burger animal style well done - combo with coke please!

....I think that's all of 'em

I love how you didn't classify their nuggets as chicken

McDonald's old nuggets contained some beef, and were nice and juicy inside, as well as crispy. They actually tasted better than the current all white meat nuggets they sell currently.
Jack in the box and tim hortons dont really exist here in Lower Canadia. I did hear of a tim hortons opening somewhere in the state but they apparently don't sell poutine so I ignore that franchise. All we have are Arbys (only good for chicken, curly fries, actually having cherry coke, cheese sticks, and their italian sub [which was better before they started advertising it as being on ciabata bread]), Burger king (flame-broiled whopper and jr), McDonalds (McChicken and lard-fried pommes frites), Taco bell (chalupa supreme is the only thing they sell that doesnt totally [censored]), and wendy's, which is totally mediochre.
The only other franchises that Lower Canadia has are the different submarine franchises. I prefer a subway BMT on italian herb and cheese with spinach (if available -- lettuce if not), tomato, banana-phone peppers, onion, light mayo, honey mustard, sweet onion sauce, a dash of vinegar, a tiny amount of oil, and a dash of black pepper (I dont like dry sandwiches).
Edit: I did see an A&W, but their food doesnt stand out (cheese curds are decent), nor does checkers have anything that stands out (their fries arent bad though). Sonic doesn't exist in Lower Canadia because you can't rollerskate to cars in the snow.

Re: the MCRIB!
I have heard of the glory called In N Out. I never got around to going there. Too much to see in California.
Sonic?
I don't think I have heard of a place called that.
A few places that I have heard of in the US that I might see one of these days (barring that one of you guys make the gagging smiley over it) is called Jersey Mike's subs. It sounds like something in the Southern US. The other interesting one's are Taco Del Mar and WAfflehouse.
One of these days...
Tim Horton's is all we got.
What I am really interested in is what v.o.c. or Mr. S do for fast food restaurants.
