Post by mr_s » Tue Jan 08, 2008 8:16 am

So how does one become one of the crew...

By that i am referring to

<eVa>
=USV=
.TVR
<TVB> [not quitesure what this stands for.. ah, the ville brotherhood]

I think gator said by invites only..

reason im askin is when all the regulars or admins are away, i see lot of disrespect for fellow players

Gator was correct, sir. The Ville Guilds recruit by invitation only. Don't worry though, respect your fellow players, behave yourself in game as well as the forums and someone will no doubtedly be shooting you a pm inviting you to join one of our happy go lucky guilds.

We also require a resume and a very rigorous and formal interviewing process.

Careful, though, I hear that they do cavity checks, too.

Speaking for TVB (and I think all the guilds are like this), we just look for people who are fun and respectful to game with. It's totally a social thing; we could care less about skill level.

Being friendly in-game and active in the forums is a big plus for getting noticed. Trying to recruit totally overwhelms me. There are easily a hundred players who I'm glad to see on the server when I join a game.

If you want to be a member of eVa, there is a long entrance process that takes months.
We have criminal record checks, IQ tests (everyone in eVa is over 150), handsome tests (eVa stands for everyone Very attractive), DNA tests, and goat tests.
The goat tests are probably the most arduous part of the process. We have a member (Ellroy) who deliberately failed the goat test each week.....but eventually got in after the goat became exhausted.

You don't know Ellroy....

We used to have a complete herd until he contaminated them all and then TVR ate some of them.....

BTW, if this happens, let us know.
Join the Ville Steam Community and the admins all have a star at their names.
Just call any one of us and we'll be there to help....

Poor goats. Sounds like they are doomed regardless of who gets a hold of them.
