Re: Bowl Pick off
Wow I can't believe how bad my picks have been. Have these games been upset or did I under estimate Pitt and Utah state

Re: Bowl Pick off
I think most of us are with you on Pitt and Utah State. Watched the games - BGSU played horribly for the first half of the game, and pretty much handed it to Pitt on a silver platter, despite pretending to know what they're doing for a quarter. Not a single person in our league got that game correct. Northern Illinois didn't exactly play well either, but I'll grant that Utah State earned their upset at least. Gruel and abiscuit did guess that one correctly, but the other 10 of us missed the mark there as well.

Why, why, why does Lou Holtz have a job that involves talking? So brutal. It actually makes otherwise good games difficult to watch.

It could be worse, ESPN could hire Tim Tebow as a college football analyst...Dirty Dan wrote: Why, why, why does Lou Holtz have a job

Yeah. I took the news today hard. I'm cancelling my cable after football season...not that it helps me that he will be doing "analysis" when football season is back...Gruelsicle wrote:It could be worse, ESPN could hire Tim Tebow as a college football analyst...Dirty Dan wrote: Why, why, why does Lou Holtz have a job

Re: Bowl Pick off
I dislike Tebow a great deal, but I'd rather he be in the booth than on the field. If he proves effective, so much the better, but at least he won't get the same limelight as before. Sportscasters just don't get pinned up in lockers the same way as QBs.

There was a moment just before I went to sleep last night where I was looking at my picks for today and had an impulse to just flip them all. Stupid good impulse control O_o.....

Congratualtions to Alizee Fan and Jameis Winston, winners on their birthdays!
Fun times for all. Except for the Gator Bowl of course. And I blame Gator.

If only the Irish had gotten that memo last yearThe Domer wrote: but a loss for the SEC is a win for everyone.
Of course, as a wise man on facebook pointed out "Rooting for Auburn because they are in the SEC is like rooting for the Devil because he's in the Bible"

Re: Bowl Pick off
Thanks for running the event, Jim.
That was one nail-biter of a finish! After great luck early on, I very nearly ran out in the last few games - yikes. The endings of the last two in particular were enough to give me fits.
