As most people know, the stats and achievements in L4D2 have been very unstable, inconsistent, and in some (okay a lot) of cases, completely resetting for no reason.

Well, apparently that's all patched up now, my achievements haven't reset in a while, but now I'm kind of wishing they would. Because now two of my achievements have bugged out and are stuck in the locked position. Crass Menagerie, and Club Dead.

When I look at my achievements through the Steam Community, they have incorrect totals. Crass Menagerie says I only have 4 out of 6, when there aren't even 6 uncommon infected in the game, and Club Dead says I only have 8 out of 9, when only 8 of the melee weapons are required, with the chainsaw and the baseball bat being excluded from the requirements.

When I look at my achievements in-game, all the uncommon infected and all the melee weapons are ticked off, but the achievements themselves are still locked.

It's not game-breaking, of course, it's just a bit of an annoyance that unless I somehow reset my achievements (is there a way to do it manually??), I'll most likely never be able to get those two achievements again.


Oh, also, during my marathon single-player games of L4D2 last night, I experienced an odd bug with the Jockey. If you right click to do the push-melee thing RIGHT as he lunges at you...he dies.

Instantly. He kind of disappears too. Gone. Dead. "Flobee.TVR killed Jockey."

Weird.

Oh well.

As far as I know, there is no way to reset your achievements without resorting to a third party program.

One which may or may not get you banned.

Oh, looks like Valve ninja fixed the achievements. I now have Club Dead and Crass Menagerie again. All is well.

Yeah, charger really needs some work.
I think everyone agrees sometimes you you go straight through a person and it doesnt grab em, other times you miss them and it does grab them. Its the same visual for everyone and my team laughs and apologizes when we miss and it grabs them.

And a charger getting stopped on a stick on the ground makes me cry.

Another bug which I love and I'm really surprised they haven't fixed yet is climbing up the generator lights. You are invincible up there, even vs a tank.

The maps themselves seem to be buggy. I've had games end with me getting stuck in objects. The first time it was a post in the hotel map. A charger grabbed me, and when I was released I couldn't move. I was playing solo on a server so I voted to restart. Within 2 minutes it happened again in a totally different location. Even incapping myself and being picked up didn't help.

I've had that happen during a finale campaign with others, which sucked. I thought they marked that bug 'fixed' in the update before the most recent one?

This one bug really bothers me. It's when I go down and my teammates keep running toward the safehouse instead of coming back to save me. They gotta fix that.
