L4D2 scavenge mode is awesome

Just came back from a scavenge mode and I had a ton of fun. I didn't have a lot of time so I decided to try and find a quick game to try out the new mode. I got lucky and found some good teammates with mics twice and had some fun matches with a lot of teamwork.

I could definitely see this being more popular then regular versus as the survivors are constantly in motion and I can see a lot of unique strategies for both the survivors and the infected to use.

I remember on one match, (I think it was the dead center finale one) our team split into teams of 2. One team was on the ground floor picking up the floor gas cans while the other 2 tossed gas cans below for them. It worked nicely and we managed to get all 16 gas cans one round .

If scavenge mode is this fun with strangers, I could definitely see this being a ton of fun with a group of villuns.
