Can some of the servers be converted to vs servers

I noticed through steam groups we have a total 4 servers however none of them are vs servers yet. Can we get some of them changed to vs servers so we have a ville vs server to hang out on, it really hard to find a dedicated vs server.

i wish there was a way to keep from switching sides, i would love to just play as infected only for a while

Agreed, it is fun. And, it is difficult to start a game with fellow villuns when there aren't any dedicated servers available. Local works occasionally...and usually only 4 or so people can get in.

The lobby controls what map the server runs. There are no "VS Servers." So you need to set up a VS lobby to play it.

Hmmm still stevo when you join a viile server from the steamgroup feature you can't set it to versus mode for some reason hmm unless you can use the console somehow. hang on.

I guess we just have too many Villuns that play this then. I've done the command and it appeared no servers were left. Ah well, guess whenever that happens I'll have to wait.

Don't use the group list, use the steps in the thread that I linked.

Rits, did you try it today? I had to change some server settings, but it should work now. It works for me every time.

Yep. How many servers can be run through the Ville again? It might be because everyone was using them? Like I said in the other thread, it worked early in the afternoon, but towards late evening it seemed there weren't any servers left.

All 4 servers were emtry so in theory we should be able to start versus on a emtry one.

I'll try stevo's trick but I seriously doubt it will change it.

Alright, just in case sv_search_key fails, I set the default map on two servers to VS maps. So now there is a server set to each campaign.
