Does anyone know which admins play on this server? There's no icon on the admin list yet for this game.

The cursing on voip is terrible right now. (and I was on the winning team!)

I play INS, but I've only banned a couple for overt racism. I'm not sure, but I don't think we are actively enforcing Ville standards on the INS server yet.

The profanity, disrespect and attitudes on INS are atrocious. I suggest muting players in your menu for the time being.

I find that most of them respond well to warnings, but not being an admin myself, I can't make the little glowy warning signs..

I understand that many playing Insurgency have came from a Counterstrike Background so language and behavior no doubt will be very bad compared to the TF2 servers.

Warnings and suggestions will help with the reasonable ones but the unreasonable ones will just call you out, dont stoop to their level, just record the information and we can give them a meeting with the ban stick.

Whenever I'm on the INS server I try to enforce the rules, most of the time people listen, but sometimes they don't stop.

Thanks, it's good to know more than a few admins ahve the game installed.

Someone just needs to write a .script that let's you flash the language warning remotely!

Aside from the random TK'er, most of the players are pretty well behaved, I just don't think they're used to playing on a "clean language" server.

And, I have to admit, it can be a frustrating game!

Ung, we had an "unconnected" "playing" last night. He was spamming voice chat with some rubbish about beastiality and TKing a ton.

It has something to do with setting the playername to nothing. Makes mute not work, and the server can't autokick them for having 4 tks like it normally does.

By the time he left last night he had -150 pts on the scoreboard.... that's 30 TKs.

Unfortunatly it was pretty late ~11pm pacific and I couldn't find an online admin to help.

Try to get a SteamID next time. Type status in console and it will list all the players and their SteamID.

I tried to take a screenshot, I'll check my files tonight and see if it worked.

I was on lastnight with you when That was going on.. and there was no way to get a steam ID on that player.. he/she was "unconnected" their steam ID did not show up, because they are not "connected" to the server.. it's a hack..
and on the cus words...That will be tough..cuz of the type of game that is is..heck I even cought myself a couple of times.. I just lay off the mic botton , then burst out. lol
