I'm sorry to say, you're all wrong.

It was Professor Plum, in the Conservatory, with the Wrench.

Well as for a player who played this mod alot, I can say I stopped playing because I was tired of kids telling me I suck at this and that, and other things that I can't post on here.
I hated getting shot (ff) if I had a sniper, and some 14 yr old thought he was better at it then me.
Spawn camping was a joke, and if someone tells you that "it's part of the strategy of the T's" well that was full of crap , and I bet those players played T's 70-90 % of the time.
Oh it's soooooo fun getting shot 1 foot from spawn, then wait 20-30 sec only to get an RPG get shot straight in spawn
That's why I got L4D. 3 teammates you can trust, and no kids

I to likes Insurgency alot, but I havent been getting the joy out of any gaming much lately so I've been taking a big break from it all together. But Cujo does cover a big part of it. the Marines are always under handed and because of that, all it takes is a slightly overhanded INS side to completely destroy the Marines... the one sided maps make plenty of sense, but sometimes, its just too much.

Cancer. Mod Cancer. The doctor told him that he couldn't keep living such a carefree lifestyle, but he just wouldn't listen...
We need to get CS:S back on a server. I know only a small group of people played it, but there were so many good memories playing on there.
I totally agree with this. CS:S remains, to this day, one of my favorite games of all time, but it's so hard to find a decent un-modded server. So any time I want to get my CS:S fix, I have to just play with the official bots, and that can only hold my interest for so long...

I never really played it, but if I had to guess from the SourceBans page, it was largely due to the CS:S type crowd it attracted. Honestly, it made me not want to play it in the first place (I stay at TheVille to get away from that kind of behavior, and it's only reasonable that it could drive people away as well.

I liked the idea of INS but as one of many gamers with limits on their gaming time, I can hardly devote enough time to TF2 and DoD/:S as I'd like, much less now that I've added L4D to the mix.
I feel the exact way Plinko does. I would also be willing to play in a CS:S server. I wasn't around the ville when there was one. I like to get my fix on, every now and then :)

BAH INS is a game that appeals to 2 kinds of people, the older gamers who like different gameplay options and styles, ones that hang around the ville to play in a teamlike fashion... and then the young teens that look for any game that is close to reality in its look and gameplay physics, and is popular with the masses.

no offense intended to our young villuns here, as most of you are not the normal teen gamer.

anyway, INS was a popular thing briefly when beta came out and again when it was released through steam. The lack of new maps and the number of bugs/glitches has driven INS back into the bucket. until they update, i doubt seriously we will see any change on the INS server status here or anywhere.
