Still down. Why does it have to be IV down?! I would understand if IX tanked but not IV. It seemed so stable the other day.

What did happen to IV? IX is beginning to be almost unplayable due to the lag spikes, and the zombie one hit kills.

IV was often unstable and empty. So we let the rental lapse.
Currently looking for an alternative.

As for Zombie one hits....bizarre. Will look into that.

I found 4 way more stable than 9. You can see a 2+ hour kault due to crash/disconnect and loading kault multiple times.
And yes Humans drop dead way faster in 4 than in 9. Its been like that for a while. The main defect they shared is that both exhibited the same "user connecting" lag. In which basically when a new user connects all users disconnect for a second giving users the chance to walk a few steps before resynchronizing with the server to the previous state before disconnection.

Actually, I also made a few minor modifications:

-- Reduced backstab strength
-- Reduced Zombie damage on Allies
-- Fixed a terrible bug in lighting
-- Changed a few Zombie names hehe

Bug in lighting eh well looks like fix may of had side effects. They appear randomly though only a few stay for the duration of the map. No real negative impact to game play. Loving all the other changes.

I'll see if I can tweak it a little

I'm going to change the way the Infected One works.
He's too easy to kill and doesn't really get any advantage with the invisibility. So I'm looking at letting him throw fireballs, instead of the invisibility.

Can he start out invisible until shovel, fireball is used? He is the only zombie that can quietly pass all players and take the allies first or second flags when they are unwatched. Currently he still manages to stab be in the back when I'm busy trying to get rid of a mob in front of me. I am thankful he does not instantly kill me anymore from full health.
For a human zombie use I understand the change since he kinda sucks.

What about making the infected one actually infect you? Maybe your health will steadily decline or till you get a health pack or something? I used to love to play the Infected One but i am slaughtered almost instantly by human players now. Not sure why it's so different now. I can always tell the Infected one because he's usually the only one running around with a knife.
