Rank and money reset?

Is the money and rank going to be reset this year? If possible could we have a deadline if it is going to happen? I want to try spend and give away my in game money before it all goes poof!

Oooo, after all the shield money I saved up? Dang.
But I am totally cool with giving it all away, if I can do so before the deadline. And maybe have a money cut-off, so that the new players can get a little headstart?

I have. Last night, I dropped $15000 on players with less that 1500 points.
I didn't even know you could give larger than $500 until last night. And dropping $5k on a guy with 1024 points - LOL.

And I never spend it anyway. That's how I got $31k to begin with. Well, that and playing WAY TOO MUCH Left4DOD.
I only ever buy the sniper rifle when there's a human-powered UNG. I used to buy the flamethrower - I really liked that! I wished it had a longer range...
