Problems with Energy Shield

Both before and after the latest Update - intermittant problems activating the energy shield (same whether bought or picked up). It shows in inventory, i press the use key, it is no longer in inventory, but no shiled goes up and no zombies get killed.

It has been happening so often lately that I don't even bother to try shield anymore.

Funny thing is NEVER have the same problem activating air strike radio or throwing tnt.

any ideas??

We were having this problem, but not since a few days ago.
Everyone was remarking yesterday on just how well they were function on IV

What exactly is happening?
When you press the +USE key, does nothing happen at all? No green beams?

lately it has not been happening as much as before.

Essentially if bought a shield or picked one up, would press the +USE button and nothing would happen. On the primary server you would see the symbol for a shield in your inventory, and when press +USE that sybol disappears as if used, but no green beams, no dead zombies.

however, due to full servers of late have been playing on the COOP server more than before, and as far as I recall, in the last 3 weeks have ONLY noted the problem on the COOP server.

Inventory? What's that? I loved it when it was in the HUD.

It still is.
You just have to turn it on - go into the menu, choose Settings and turn it on...

As if today I have not noted any further problems with the Shield - running great now.
