Gas man for President......

Ha now I got your attention what are the chances the gas man could be changed with say a voodoo priest with a bow and arrow as I believe I hardly ever see a gas man make a kill let alone be played by a human(the anarchist is basically the same thing)

Anyways I thought i'd throw it out there. :eh:

Unfortunately, the gas man kills me all the time :oops:
He's also the go to class for campers and exploiters.
When Dog was fiddling around with his damage, we were getting a lot of people up on roofs and lightposts.
Even triple jump cant replace that well-placed gas bomb :)

Unfortunately for many wannabe exploiters, the gas man doesn't work behind map clipped zones. I know because I have tried on maps like Flash where you can jump up on those walls separating the fields from the main play. He cannot target. The double jump feature isn't causing nearly as many issues as I thought it would.

If you ever play Left4Dead, human Zs are encouraged to climb up on roofs/walls etc and are even provided with Z-only ladders. If I had more time and a team of map makers, I would do the same!

As for humans not playing Gas Man or Anarchist. I disagree.
I've seen some VERY successful Anarchists, like NUN, who can land skulls beside you!
I also think a lot of people don't realize that if the gas lands directly beside the Allied player it does 100% damage.

Now that double jumping Zs are marked with a nice wee smoke trail, Allied players should find them easier to track.
Besides Zs bouncing all around you is good for your marksmanship.
How many times have I heard players say that going back to regular DoDS is tough, as it is too easy?

Hehe, testing Left4DoD was the first DoD:S I ever played. Suffice to say, I wondered how it kept people occupied for so long! Seemed like a cake-walk in comparison :-P

Going back to regular DOD:S is not the same anymore. Dog's creation is a party you never want to leave. :P

i was wondering as we have the hooch drop which gives us a nice burst of speed, how about a double jump drop for allies to pick up so we can bounce around after the zombies.

oh ditto on that. I really tried out gas man tonight and it was super smooth. jumping around was fun and balconies are easy to clear.
