The fog is set to the parameters you gave me a long time ago, Dog.

Also changed the sky to sky_dod_09_hdr.

The env_light still needs to be changed to night time settings....

All I did was add entities using entspy... there wouldn't be a new map to DL

(I didn't decompile/add/recompile/rename)

is it dod_palimo on the coop server?

I am bogged down with RL work right now. I am in the middle of writing music so I will update as soon as I can.

Well, I tried Santos on two different servers tonight and it cleared the population, not because it was a bad map, but because people weren't prepared to hang around for a 40Mb map download. Drizz is OK because it is small.
A pity, especially since I waypointed it twice.

So if you want to recommend maps, then I suggest you make them very small.

You will need Winrar to unzip it

I added it to the Australian mapcycle for now and I will look at adding it to TV10 and gradually make it more custom maps.
It won't be added to TV4 or TV9 since I want them to be stock only

Dog, I would like to respectful disagree. I think you should put the maps into the rotations of all the servers when they are first modified and set for use on Left4DOD, so that all Left4DOD users can have the maps in the proper places.

It may get to be that the mod itself will require a separate download and autoinstaller so that folks don't have to do it in-game, but in the end, everyone having the same maps and, ultimately, the same software set for Left4DOD will make your life easier.

Personally, I don't have WinRAR on this PC, so I'm going to get it in-game, but it would be nice to be able to download an executable map pack.

It's still there.
But it has been removed from the main map cycle to keep the population up.

One of the things we do at TheVille, is we constantly question what a good server is, trying to keep server numbers up. The data showed that each time Santos came up, half the server would leave. So I removed the map from the cycle.

The map can still be accessed, though.
Ask a Supporter or an Admin to votemap it.

I came across a map the other day, bad thing is it's a sniper map. So that means its huge.
But the map name is dod_snow_bridge_beta2. Do not know if that could possible work or not? But I have fun on it.

Another map I just thought of is dod_farmers_b4. its a 3 point map, open with a few structures. That would be a good one there.
But its a custom and we know how people feel about those. :eh3:
