domination/revenge sounds off

I do not know if there is a consol comand for on/off.

so this is what i did.

found the names of the sound files

dod_domination.wav
dod_revenge.wav

then i copied and renamed 2 files that I wanted instead or create 2 new wave files with no sound rename them as above, most probably without the .wave extention.

now place these 2 files in this folder ...misc...

...\Steam\steamapps\youracc\day of defeat source\dod\sound\misc
if you haven't got those folders create them.

know you won't here those sounds, just remember this takes the sounds out of DOD:S.

if you want them back just rename them or folder
i rename them like dod_dominationx

I tried to overwrite these, like I did with the game win sounds, but they work on client system, not the server.

That sounds like a great solution.

if you dominate them there is no sound,
but...
if they dominate you there is domination sound.

why? i don't know.
