Left4DoD: Favorite Weapon Load out?

It depends on the map, and the crew on the map. If there are a small group of guys that can cover me while I set up/reload, I like the .30 cal/MG42, and take a very forward position. If the map is more wide open, I like the Garand. Maps with less room, I like the BAR or the MP44. If I'm in the mood for assault, the Tommy gun or the MP40.

If I'm going to cover a flag from getting recapped by the Zs, I like the BAR or the Garand. The BAR's slow reload is maddening, but sometimes the spray&pray is required when you're in a tight spot.

Lol rico so basically you just dont like the rocket or sniper going off your list =P
And their not the rifle grenades the way I do it, just normal hand grenades. I just prefer to have the rifle its self and being support class makes them hand grenades =]

My style of play is pretty agressive, so the weapons that require stand-off aren't really suited to that. The sniper rifle is nice, if I can get a clear shot into the spawn and just pick off selected Zs, but once a human starts playing with the Z's, then I'm screwed. :0

Even with the MG, I like to be right up with the point man, so I can lay down virtual lead while my team mates do the capping.

So, how do you use grenades with the Garand without making them rifle grenades? I haven't figured that out yet!

When I was playing on American servers with 300 ping I used to go support and change the bar to the M1 Garand, used to do really well with nades and the rifle...

other the other class I really liked was the mg, and just holding certian choke points !!!

but now that i'm on a 30 ping server in aus, the game play is quicker almost, the zombies seem to sneak up a lot more and faster too so I might just go back to the bar or STG !!

Haha thanks dog. Yea I usually select support instead of assault, that way I have two grenades. I find I just hurt more team mates than its worth when I have the "smoke grenades" so I take the safe option and just done use them haha

Garand most of the time, depends on map really.also swap the bar for garand for the hand grenades sometimes it takes an age for to put the grenade on the end of your rifle been caught out many times lol.

Since I've started playing on theville AUS server for 3 days now, so far I would have to say the BAR or the MP44.

Also a big kudos to Dog for getting me addicted to the zombies.
