Big change coming up and it affects both Allies and Zombies.
Up until now, the human Zombies have been able to run around invisible after spawning and it has led to issues with exploits and causes server lag with collisions. For some time now, I have been trying to figure out ways of removing the invisible limbo stage of human zombie spawning while still giving them an advantage.
So I've removed the entire collision system (which should massively improve lag) and the Limbo system and replaced it with something similar to what the Allies have with the parachutes.
On spawn, a Human Zombie will be presented with the choice of spawning elsewhere on any flag on the map.
If there are Allies on a flag, they will not be able to spawn on it.
After they spawn, they can begin flag capture or make a run for it.
This will affect Allies as they will have to watch the flags.
Zombies will have to be careful spawning on flags as a MG can sit and pick them off as they have no protection and since they cannot pop up anywhere any more, it makes life easy for the Allies finding them behind their lines....just check the flags!
It will affect play a lot so I may have to tweak it. I'll put it up tomorrow once I'm done with testing and reconfiguring the map data (I have to get the coords of every flag on every map!) Then you can play test it for me and let me know if it is a keeper. I particularly want to hear from human Zombie players - hopefully they can honestly tell me if it is too much of an advantage...
On a side note, human Zombie now slowly heal (1hp per second) and that is currently working on the servers. I was playing it tonight and while it works, it takes forever to heal!

Logged in just now to play, and I've zero dollars. Yesterday I had a little over 2 grand. Also, I strongly disapprove of the Skeleton no longer being free.

I play mostly zombie, in case you are wondering why everyone is reflexively trying to kill my forum username
With the new server settings, it is again VERY hard to be a zombie, one shot kills seem to be back (or close to it). Flag-spawning is a good compensation. It's tipped again to the Allies' advantage overall, but this makes it less likely I'm going to get shredded out of spawn.
A suggestion with the new settings is maybe make z's a LITTLE stronger. There are times when myself and 4 or 5 others are on a guy who's reloading or something and we are HACK HACK HACK HACK and the guy has time to make coffee, write a letter home, gnaw on some C-Rats, and then shoot all of us.
Maybe just the shovel. After all, youse guys got guns and if we get close enough, I think you should PAY MUHAHAHA RAR

I routinely aim for the head on all zombies, and if I know you're out there, I concentrate REALLY HARD on headshots. And with the Thompson, if I give you one round to the head, you're done.
I would LOVE for the Skeleton to go back to melee only, immune to fire and shield. And be available for purchase - $200 per event. When Dog had Skelly set like that, I was rocking it so hard. I blew through $10k so fast.... LOL.

It's definitely hard to be a zombie now. The UNG seems weaker. Players with sniper rifles are tearing me up with the headshots no matter which character I play. They are getting really good and blowing my brains out, even if I'm jumping around as the skeleton.

Personally, I think it's rather difficult to be an ally as well. If both sides are thinking its a challenge though, I'd say that's balanced.
