Mythbuster Fun Night
After the Cup we will run "MythBuster Night".
People sign up on the condition that they have a theory...
For example:
"I believe that a team of medics could win one level on Dustbowl" or something like that.
Then on the night, we will all try out these theories and see if they can be proven....a bit like that TV program, Mythbusters....
Here are the current Myths to be proved/unproved:
SPAM: A single heavy/medic combo (the RIGHT heavy/medic) can take on an entire team of scouts....
JD: I believe that a team of all spys cannot take out a team of all engys if the engies have the time to get setup
TYO: I believe that a team of Heavies cannot cap the last point in Warpath against a team of Snipers.
l3eeron: I believe that with a team of scouts/meds vs. demo/meds. I think the scouts would win.
Scurvy: I believe a team of medics could defend gravelpit against a team with no medics.
YevGenie: I believe a team of all engi's can defend any dustbowl map.
KRG: I believe it is not possible to strafe a fully loaded, level 3 SG (in circles) and destroy it with a melee weapon. . . .without dying.
Teh Carpe: I believe that a Demoman can't bounce a pipe off a wall in such a manner that it hits an enemy following him (ala Meet the Demoman)
Teh Nanite: I believe a team of spys can beat a team of engys on dustbowl
Masakari: I believe that 12 Level 3 sentries lined up in a row (With engineers and dispensers behind them) could be destroyed by one pyro with an ubercharge
Blah: I believe a lone Medic can bonesaw a heavy being healed by two medics and then bonesaw both medics
PantslessJedi: I believe an uber'd disguised spy can still sap a sentry
Tickles: I believe a team of scouts can beat a team of medics

Re: Another potential Fun Night idea
I reject your reality and substitute my own.
That sounds like a fun idea.

Mythbusters was just here in Huntsville doing a piece on whether we actually landed on the moon. I believe it will broadcast in April.
Interesting idea, Dog. I need to work up a hypothesis.

I believe that Spam and Ladeee can be decimated if they play any other combo than Heavy / Medic.
Even better, I believe that if they reverse rolls, Spam is the Med and Ladeee is the HW that they will still be a force to be reckoned with!

What is this CGN of which you speak? The C probably stands for "Canadian". No matter. This is a Mythbusters thread, so Kari Byron links are highly on topic.
