Re: April MeleeMania
I'll let someone else have a whack at this one, pun intended.
I'll try to be on hand to help out where needed, healing and such.

I was talking online tonight with Yev.
I have a few ideas to involve more people, but not taking away from game night time too much.
for the brackets, find some way for previous well placed players to get auto entrances, and good seeds to game day (as it is), but instead of having random selection, or only random selection for being in or out, hold an early series of elimination rounds to get to the championship night. IE. On the Wed before, have a mini bracket for who ever shows up for 4 spots, the Thursday before for another 4 spots, etc. Than have all who qualified duke it out on the final melee day like this last month, but the best will have a descent shot of making it regardless.
Or like we did last month when Blah didn't show.... put everyone in the ring ... and have a quick one round, last man standing. this can be a way to get through a lot of people quickly for a few final spots on game night... thus involving more without 12 hours of waiting.

Re: April MeleeMania
It's not a bad idea, but I don't think you should have to battle for spots to participate. After all, this is just for fun and we want to make sure everyone gets a spot sooner or later. Plus, it would make the TVB HAL super computer angry if we took away the participation selection calculation...
