The funniest part about that was that the machine gun encounter happened on the last round of Train and we'd all bought M249s. There was a great deal of sprayage there.

Oh that was simultaneously awful and awesome. It made me laugh when Plas said he was firing blind because he got flashbanged and STILL mowed four of us down. :)

I had a blast last night. I'll DEFINITELY see you guys next month :)

I'll try and be there, but CS:S doesn't quite appeal to me like DoD and TF2 did. I prefer class-based play over however CS:S works to be honest.

But it's not like I got anything to lose.

Maybe the Carpe of 4-5 years ago. Today's Carpe is a moderate CS:S threat at best

Also, I probably won't be as late tomorrow as I initially assumed, so I'm changing my "no" to a "tenatitive maybe". If people are still playing when I get home I'll try and drop in.

Tonight was by far the best turnout so far. The server was completely full for almost two hours, thanks to everyone who came out. And of course big thanks to Masakari and KRG for helping promote the event.

Good game, everyone. And yeah, it stayed full for much longer than the previous time.

There was a bit of discussion about making the next SSCSS a Gun Game event? It would certainly keep things simpler for the new-to-CS players we have.

Also, perhaps increasing the starting bank would reduce some of the steamroll effect that we started to see. Or some of us should have switched teams a few times.

But, everyone kept playing through it, so that's good!
