Basically who's an opponent you continuously meet on the battlefield to battle a never ending duel to the death. An opponent equal in strength and always fun to fight against.

This is not like an opponent you crush under you boot or you get crushed under. This is an enemy who tests you as much as you tests him, an opponent you gain respect for due to his/her combat abilities. If you were on the same team you'd probably be brothers in arms but because the teams need to be balance you must face each other on the battlefield

Ahh i have been waiting for a thread like this. Here are a few.

This first villun I am proud to call my arch nemesis. I never know what to expect from him. He is constantly challenging me to duels, ambushing me, and taunting me. He uses insane tactics and attacks that should never work but somehow do. Ive seen him go on a 30 kill spree with a sword in a non melee match. I have seen him score taunt kills with almost every weapon that can. He pushes my sanity to the brink by sheer virtue of his chaotic play style.
The one the only................... The next is the player I feel is the best matched to my skill. I found this out one night when we were playing in ville 7. We started out on opposite teams playing the same class. We both topped the leader board that match on our respective teams with almost identical scores. Every time we met it was a throw of the dice who went down. Later in the night we ended up on the same team and we rolled side by side kicking but. Again our score were nearly identical.
The villun insane enough to match my madness in combat........... Next we have the only scout that always takes me head on. Lets run you through the attack. First a sandman bonk from across the park. Then runs straight at me pistol blazing. Finishes with shotgun at point blank unless I unstun and flatten him instantly. Throwing your self straight at a heavy who could spin up at any second and cut you in half without dodging? Forget brass ones they are friggen steel!
The biggest puniest man......... Next we have an interesting case of the spy I admire. Not only does he dominate without using rage quit inducing tactics, but he is also a blast to fight. He once played hide and seek in the intel room with one medic while BSing and taunting him in the chat box. This guy is something else.

Yeah a few days ago i got that. He shot me in the face and then waved then steam messaged "hi" to me then shot me in the face and waved again. Three greetings what a nice guy.

Used to be Armed Angry Atheist, but I haven't seen him on ville7 much recently.
I had fun going combat medic vs close-in huntsman sniper against him.

As i mostly play medic, I don't really get much fighting in but I'll say the closest fights I get with are with Soltan/Barcode. As for demoman I feel Devastator or Avar would probably be my picks for comparable fighting styles. Also though this is only really what I have experienced and I'm probably missing out on other servers.

I'm one of those weirdos who plays every class and I'm also horribly inconsistent, so my "worthy opponent"s vary depending on the day. I guess it would be fair to say that on any given day, any villun can make a worthy opponent.

I love el Hefes taunts I've had to save his ass a few times from his incessant taunting.

Mine would have to be Vegeta. Allways have a good fight with that guy.

Mr Fussy. Whether it be in archer duels or spy versus (engy or pybro) cat and mouse games, Fussy is a worthy opponent.
