I'm actually not a fan of renamed Mediguns. The reason the names show up when we're being healed is so we know what kind of Uber the Medic has. When they have witty names, it makes it harder to tell.

So far, I think Beeron wins with the Beeheader...most clever and personal one I have seen so far in this thread. I have a some ideas for renaming my engi crap...if I ever get around to finding or buying a nametag.

The colour of the text will remain the same (purple or whatever it is) and if you don't like the name you changed it to, you can use the restore function to remove the nametag.
